Spiritually Speaking

This morning I awoke feeling quite apprehensive and not so happy about the day because today is the day I have the CAT scan, with Barium, and IV dye. I mean, no one wants to have this done...right!

I went downstairs to have breakfast and decided to have "real" eggs today instead of my usual egg substitute. I rarely buy REAL eggs, but for some reason I picked up a carton on Tuesday.

I opened the egg carton and on the inside lid it read -

GOOD MORNING BEAUTIFUL!
"This is the Day which the Lord has Made, Rejoice and Be Glad In It"

Wow....I was quite moved by that. You see I often wake up thinking this, but this morning was not one of those mornings.

Plus, we sing this song in our Love Circle at church every Sunday.

This past Sunday my service message/lecture was about "Inspiration" and also about "As We Get Cooperative, Heaven Gets Cooperative" and this is definitely one those cooperative times.

Now, I ask you how cool is this!

But there is a little more to the story.

As soon as I read it, I thought I was seeing things because I did not have my glasses on. But it truly was there, right on the egg carton for anyone to see.

It just made me feel so good, way deep inside of me. It made me feel that, yes, I can do this today, lots of people do it...it is fine. It gave me energy to do all kinds of stuff this morning.
